Welcome to Our Blog!!!
Hey there kindergarten families! I am so happy that you decided to check out our classroom blog! This is a place for you to come check out what is happening in room 404. Here are the kinds of posts you can expect to see:
1. PICTURES!!! I love taking pictures of the students and posting them on here. Students enjoy seeing themselves, you can see them learning, and you can share the link with distant relatives. So be sure you signed the photo release form :) I will not post pictures of your child if I did not get this form.
2. QUALITY WORK! For the last 2 years I have blogged with my class and the blog was a way I motivated students to do their best work. I took a picture of their quality work and posted them.
3. WHAT DID YOU LEARN TODAY? I ask this at the end of the day and sometimes I will quote the students on the blog. Asking your child what they learned that day helps them reflect on their day and retain the information they learned.
Well that's it for now! I hope your child came home and said good things about their first few days! I know I enjoyed them!!
